Hello!

I have a clean Ubuntu 14.04.2 installation that I'd like to install PacketFence on.

There is a similar thread in Feb 2015 (link below), where it seemed to have been resolved. I followed the instructions in that thread and is blocked during installation with 'unmet dependencies' as shown below.
http://www.mail-archive.com/packetfence-users%40lists.sourceforge.net/msg07906.html

I appreciate any pointers.

Hello,
You realize that 14.04 is not officially supported right?
We package PacketFence for 12.04, Debian 7 and RHEL/CentOS6.

Now of course this is the devel mailing list.
Perhaps I misunderstood your intent and you meant that you were willing to undertake packaging for 14.04 ;-)

If you just have a question about installing, you would be better off asking on the packetfence-users mailing list.
The packetfence-devel is for discussing development issue.

Thanks Louis.

I opted to go with CentOS 6 and it worked well.
